A Hawaiian fancy dress party invitation sits on your table – now what? Just the image of girls in grass skirt and flowers around their necks make you melt. The only thing that stops you from confirming your attendance is finding out what you should wear. After all, men can’t wear grass skirts, right? If you think that men can’t wear anything special on a Hawaiian fancy dress party, you are wrong. Here are a couple of tips on what you should wear on this party you would so love to attend.
Tops
The staple in every Hawaiian fancy dress party for men is a Hawaiian polo. Basically, a Hawaiian polo looks pretty much like any other polo with its buttons and collar. However, Hawaiian ones have big, floral prints all over. Usual colors come in blue and green with white flower prints although you are not limited to these colors. If you do not have a Hawaiian polo, any bright colored ones will do for as long as you add a bit of floral to the rest of your outfit. If you are feeling a little bolder, you could even skip the top and focus on your bottoms, just like any regular man by the beach.
Bottom

You can wear sunglasses to a Hawaiian fancy dress party but one thing you should never forget is your lei. A lei can be bought in any kids toy shop. These normally come in different colors and you could either choose one you think would complement the color of your clothes or wear all of them at the same time. Also, wear an ankle made from strings or fabric as it adds to that Hawaiian surfer boy feel.
